This blog is at the request of some people who aren't patient. =)
Good news is I finished Isaiah. Started Jerimiah....already have read most of it.
Yesterday was fun. The Pilot light went out on both water heaters here. Yesterday morning I went to get in the shower and was like...Colorado cold water puts a whole new meaning to cold water in the book! I'm pretty sure it came straight from the Mountains!
Also yesterday a snow storm hit. Its pretty crazy when you can see it dumping on the mountains and know its coming for you next! I'm sure its beautiful....but right now...I'm cold. And snow doesn't look to pretty.
I went to a concert on sunday night. It was good. Bands like MercyMe and David Crowder, Fee, Francesca Batestelli, and ooooo...My fave EVER...Family Force Five. And skinny jeans were part of the uniform. MMMmmmmmmhum. I had no clue. And now....scared. FOREVER!
Family Force Five was just a fail of a band. They all had the same thing on. A Blue shirt thing...whit skinny jeans of course. Oh goodness. I wonder if anyone tells them whats appropiate to as and whats not. One guy was like...loosing his pants. EW! The "lead singer" was rolling around on the stage. He also said "colorado has a lot of good looking people, its okay to be christian and good looking". Thats the part where I just started laughing. I wanted to be like, do you realize how stupid you look? Because...we all do!
David Crowder was pretty awesome! I like him a lot better live then on CD. I know....backwards.
FEE was UH-MAZIN! The lead singer totally had his head on straight. And the songs were pretty cool too! MercyMe went last and started off with a Beatles song. (cough knew the song cough) I guess it made sense...kinda. Ok....I didn't really get it. But it was cool. Oh, and it was only ten bucks to get in! That was wicked sweet!
Thats about all thats worth mentioning. Well...and Remedy Drive needs to take a chill pill. They were....Um....They would be MUCH better on a CD. Where you don't have to watch them perform.

I went to some outlets, and got these necklaces for some people...who probably read this. Anyways....they are supposed to be a letter in the alphabet. but....no one can figure out what letter its supposed to be. But it looks cool. And they were pretty cheap. SCORE!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I am TURNING INTO MY FATHER!!! 8pm I'm super TIRED! I'm like...lets go to bed...'k? How did this happen? WAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa(this is just me complaining....so you can skip the next bit)aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Anyways. I gotta go eat something. Finish up some projects. Stay confounded to the house all day. Fun things. =)

Do not eat the eggs!

So, this week I encountered something that I had never experienced before.
Food Poisoning.
I think my life can be long and complete if I never have to do that again. About the third or fourth trip to the Porcelain Throne all I could even think was "Please God, take me now! I don't wanna live. I just wanna die and have a perfect body where this kinda thing WON'T HAPPEN!" Obviously God did not take me, he must still have things for me to do.
God bless the Maid! She came in on Friday when 3 of us were incapacitated and disinfected EVERYTHING! changed all the sheets, and was really quiet! She was an ANGEL I am sure of it!

So now that you have the knowledge of all things gross, lets move on.
Indiana was interesting. Very....VERY cold. But not snowey. (HA-HA)
Snday morning we went to this really good breakfast place. (It was super good because I hadn't eaten "real" food in like 3 days) I think it was called...."charlie browns pancakes" maybe. Possibly not. Anyways....while I was there....I asked the waitress if the iced tea was cold or hot.
Ba-dum-TISH! (unfortunatly....its all true)

"Today is a good day"

That title is from a friend of mine who is a song writer. She wrote this song about how every day is a good day because God is always there.
ANYWAYS.....today was a good day. I had a restful night of sleep at home (home = hotel room) and slept in the car, wrote, watched a movie, wrote some more....watched another movie...slept. All in all a productive day.
Now we are in Indiana. Home of the Indians. Or the Colts. Whatever. Not the point.
I am almost finished with Isaiah. That is one good book! I was thinking to myself as we hurtled through Kansas "Why have I not read this book before?" And the only answer I could come up with was LAME....so its not going on the internet. But Isaiah 41:13 says "...LORD your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." I was like...okay. This verse is awesome. And there are so many other good verses in there! It is such a fantastic book! This is my plug for it...visit the website, become a member...and yay.
I've started a "A+ vs F" book. And basically I rate the highlights of my day either 'A+' Or an 'F'. Pretty cool. I didn't come up with the idea. My roommate did.
I did buy a pair of Converse. Go ahead and judge me, however....they are really comfortable.
I have also recently discovered that Yani isn't the Devil. Feel free to judge me on that too. I'm not saying I'm gonna go buy his CD....but I'm not gonna burn them all.
I am super cold! And my hands are REALLY dry! Like....Valley of DEATH bone dry. And then add something even drier. Like....an actual DRYER! Thats about how dry my hands are. And Of course....I forgot lotion. Just like I forgot to bring Latex free band-aids. And my mom even told me not to forget, but I did. And I have 2 cuts...well....one cut and a compleatly skinned knuckle that are kinda infected now. This would be referred to as a "God Sized Spanking". Just in case you were wondering. Which I am sure you were wondering otherwise you woudn't be reading this.
Anyways....gotta get ready for tomorrow.

This week....

Compared to last weekend, I've done nothing. I've been going to sleep early, working hard all day, and eating well. YAY! My mom will be so proud.
Today I played a new game called "settlers". Or, "seeeeeetleeers" depending on who you are talking to. Um, I've decided that I'll likve a long and happy life without playing that game again. This week I also made Avatars online. Oh. WOW. Talk about much laughter.
Today I had to watch skits and find the good ones. I have decided that I would love to act. The Skit Guys are HI-LARIOUS! And I suggest you go to their website and check them out! All of their skits have truth in them, but start out funny. Its great.
I have still been reading in Isaiah. As much as I remember to. It is an amazing book! I was like whoa! This is cool! God has also been showing me things though those skits.
Totally just had a flash back about the Ranch. "Super Fun" will go down in history as "Super Lame"
I don't know what else to blog about. I think I might go to bed soon.
Tomorrow is my roomate and mine day off! YAY! Sleeping in, Walmart, (suddenly Ranch memories come flooding back) and maybe even some other cool stuff. Non-work related. =)

California/Valentines day/Chinese New Year

Ok WOW! Who knew that I'd be doing like 9 different things on one day!
First of all, California was AWESOME! (Lax....interesting airport. Interesting people in the airport.) I have never had so much fun people watching on the 10. Barrel of chuckles I tell ya. The traffic......whoa. What I think is rush hour...is clear sailing. Totally glad no one made me drive ANYWHERE! I'm not that aggressive! I mean....I'm sure I could be...but anyways.
Second, The West Coast is SO different from the East Coast. There are so many differences, bt some of then are just the land scape. Where N.Y. and PA have rolling hills, CA has Mountains...and flat. And the Palm Trees, and the color of the grass. How things light up in the morning. SO DIFFERENT! But they are only 2,000 miles away from each other! God has MAJOR creative juices!
I did learn a new meaning to the word Coffee. Coffee = life. =)
I tried a whole slew of new food! One being Korean BBQ. Yeah, that was good till I had an asthma attack. Then the good and the fun went WAY downhill. I did have this Tofu soup. That was just plain weird. I also Tried Durian. Google it. It.Was.....not my favorite food. I'm very proud of myself for trying it, but once is enough. Another thing was I don't think I have ever drank so much water outside of Colorado. I was SO thirsty! And like...if I didn't drink enough water, HOLY HEADACHE BATMAN!
One of the churches we went to had a worship band totally made up of teens. They.Were.Awesome! For being under the age of 18, they knew what they were doing and could lead worship! I was a little impressed. Ok, A LOT impressed!

After learning Photoshop in about a week, my whole perspective on ads in magizenes have totally changed! My roomate and I flew out to California sitting next to each other, and we were pointing out all the mistakes and stuff! I have found a new hobby. =) Ok, not really. I don't have time to be someone elses graphic designer. So, they can have really badly photoshoped ads running. I'll just point and laugh.

So I'm reviewing this book called: "Touched By A Vampire: Discovering The Hidded Messages In The Twilight Series" by: Beth Felker Jones. So far....I'm pretty impressed. She talks about the absolute obsession that Bella has for Edward. And its interesting to see the "Christian" perspective on these books. So all Ya'll....go read it. =) That was my plug.

I haven't been watching Chuck. I think I might have to go Hulu it now.
I have to pimp out my blog. It looks kinda lame right now. Yeah. I know what I'm gonna do right now.

Things You Need To Know....

1) EVERY house in Colorado has a elevated deck porch thing. Every.House.

2) The Denver Airport is a scary place in the dark. The Daemon horse will eat you.

3) Do not...I'll repeat that....do not try running the first day you get to Colorado. It will result in a ER visit.

4) Everyday is a beautiful day. Even if its raining....its just...majestic. And Gods handywork with those mountains...my WORD!! Its.....just google it. K?

And that was the informative part of this blog. Now....on to the stuff that no one reads or cares about. Unless of course you are uber bored...or a really good friend of mine and knows that some nuggets of wisdom are coming.

I Think NY needs more....cute coffee shops. We have....none that I know of. Well...none that aren't Dunkin Donuts. Which does NOT classify as a "cute coffee shop".
OH WAIT! There was one once...hummmmmmm.....I wonder if its still there. Well....its not like I can do anything about it. I don't even remember what the name of the place was!

SO I read this book. And basically it was a comic book of Genesis and Exedous. But it was the Japanese kind of comics. Theres a name for them....I have no idea what it is. I know my brother knows. Hes told me approximately 40 times. And I still don't know. Memory loss is the best!
ANY-hooo....so the book was a little...weird. First weird thing being that its a comic book. And thats pretty much my only beef with it. It followed the Bible pretty well...it had refrences to the actual Bible on the bottom of every page. So that was nice to know that these people actually had possibly read the Bible.

(ugh! My hair is being difficult)

Yep. My fingers are about frozen.....OFF. And they are wicked dry. Speaking of dry. I have never had so many bloody noses.In.My.LIFE. Like seriously, my nose is a huge clot right now. Okay....that may gross some people out....I apologize.

I love Facebook. But at the same time....I hate it. I love that you can stay connected with people. But I hate that people feel "hurt" when you don't tell them something....like...something that isn't important, and they find out on FB. Garg. And the Chat. I could personally kill it, and not feel bad. Ok.....well....I'd kill the computer.
Speaking of which. I want a crap computer that dosn't work and is just....crap. Then take it to a shooting range...and BLOW IT TO SMITHEREINES! Or...just put a lot of holes in it. That would make my heart warm.

YAY!

Well.... made it to Colorado. In one piece. The plane ride was so boring that I read my book...and started it again. Yes...it is a good book.

So....I am starting to become a pro at excel. And I did not get sick. That's why the title is "yay".
I suppose I should get like super deep right now and explain the meaning of life. But..that's not really me. Deep thoughts don't come out on demand...they kinda appear. And its usually when I'm in the middle of something....and something happens or God shows me something incredible amazing...then I'll blog till my heart is warmed. Yes....right now I think my blood froze. =) Its not that bad! I'm kidding! HAhahahaha...oh...I really hope you are laughing....otherwise...bad things.

I've decided that no matter how boring I think Isaiah is....I am going to read it. And so far I've read the first chapter like twice. Well...I was practically sleeping last night so that doesn't really count. Because this morning I'd forgotten I'd read it. Then I was reading and like...hummmm....this sounds strangely familiar. And that's when I remembered...yep. But...I don't really know the Prophets all that well...I'm more of an...early old testament kinda gal. Yeah.

Ok...I'm on Mountain time...and I think dinner is ready. I'm going to go stuff my face with food that was made for us! Thank YOU!
